A new tip on pangolin possession led the team to this villager who held one in captivity.

In recognising the fact that most villagers hunt endangered species as a way to supplement their food supply, the team gave a bag of rice to the villager in exchange for the pangolin.

The release was done on the same day so as not to stress the pangolin out any more than necessary.

Tanks BBKSDA-SU and SCORPION for the support and joint cooperation for the released the Sunda Pangolin.

And Thanks also to the Friends Of The Orangutans,Wildlife Conservation Fund ,El Paso Zoo and Ideawild for support our activities and give us spirit in conservation activities in North Sumatra.
