On the January 26,2018 afternoon BKSDA (Nature Conservation Agency, Indonesia) and GAKKUM (Law Enforcement of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry) held a protected animal searching operation in Medan bird market where the residents report to ISCP on january ,25 2018 that bird traders will sell slow lorises and Changeable hawk-eagle (Nisaetus cirrhatus), then ISCP follow up the report to BKSDA.
On Thursday afternoon, January 26,2018 a team of BKSDA (Nature Conservation Agency Indonesia) and GAKKUM (Law Enforcement of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry) directly plunged into the location and managed to seize one Changeable hawk-eagle , while the slow loris was already sold when the team arrived at the location .. at the moment it is also the perpetrator brought to BKSDA office for questioning and the next process.
